Since 1977, Northern Cam has been providing a high-quality precision engineering service to a diverse range of industries throughout the world.

1977

The founding of Northern Cam

Founded by Pritpal Singh Bhabra in 1977, Northern Cam began providing their high-quality precision engineering service, based in the Leeds area. Pritpal Singh Bhabra was a CAM designer and with him and his family were based in Leeds, North Yorkshire. Pritpal managed the company throughout the years and Northern Cam continued to expand rapidly and successfully.

Becoming a limited company

Northern Cam became a limited company.

1992

Pritpal Singh Bhabra Quality Assurance Auditor Training

Pritpal Singh Bhabra completed his Quality Assurance Auditor training 14th -15th October 1992.

1994

A family business!

Pritpals sons Satvinder Singh Bhabra and Parvinder Singh Bhabra joined Northern Cam, truly became a family business together.

1998

Northern Cams international growth

As a result of the rapid growth, Northern Cam began to grow in size with the creation of another manufacturing base in India and an established, strong and reliable supply chain from China, which was/is incredibly unique for a UK manufacturing supplier to have such intrinsic links.

Pritpal Singh Bhabra's passing

We were deeply saddened by the passing of our founder and managing director, Pritpal Singh Bhabra. His absence was profoundly felt, and we remained committed to honouring his legacy. Satvinder Bhabra took on the role of Managing Director, and Parvinder Bhabra stepped into the role of Finance Director.
